Flea Market Find 54C
#1

Found today at a local flea market, Philco what appears to be a 54c in complete condition with back, finish is a bit how can I say wrinkled looking with a tiny veneer chunk missing from the front (easily fixed). Owner had a price tag on it of $65, when the owner disappeared his kids took over and knocked the price down to $10. You think I refused (LOL) ? This looks like a good little set for restoration, and a keeper. Anyone else have one they want to share ideas, experience with?

Thanks,

GB

Gary - great deal! The 54C is becoming somewhat desirable, especially the early versions.

Hey Ron,

I wrote that last year, but I still have the set, and untouched as of yet. I guess it will be one of those some day get to's. Icon_smile)
