Grill cloth on Philco 60-121
#1

Hello Friends.

I need your help.

I am restoring a Philco 60-121.
The grill cloth is not in good conditions, and i would like to remove and put other new in good conditions, but i do not know where i can find this grill cloth.

I see in AES, Radio daze and http://www.grillecloth.com/ , but i do not see this grille cloth to my radio.

In the next images you can see this grill cloth.

Hi Jose,

While not an exact match, ( http://www.grillecloth.com/ ) #2 or #24 should work fine. I like to soak the cloth in some coffee for a minute or two before installing (letting it dry first of coarse). That will take some of the "shine" off of the new cloth and it wont stick out like new cloth. Should be a nice looking radio when your done.

good luck,
jerry.
