Can someone ID this part for me ? color code reads from left to right......Black-Yellow-Red-Red White It's shows wide open on my Fluke23.

Hi,

It's a ceramic tubular moulded cap not a resistor. That's why it's "open." Icon_smile

Try it on your cap meter or R-C bridge.

The color code actually reads the other way. It's a 22,000 pF, 20%, 500v. or 0.022 uF/500v

White = Temp coeficient = (+100 to
-750 parts per million per deg C)
Red = 2 (first sig digit)
Red = 2 (sec sig digit)
Yel = x10,000 (multiplier, four zeros)
Black = Tolerance, 20%
