Just finished RCA globetrotter
#1

I thought I would post some photos of my latest finished radio.
It's an RCA 12 tube model A-33 Globtrotter. The cabinet work was easy. I recapped the radio, and changed the 1 meg resistor for the eye tube and it works..Sounds real nice with a phone hooked up..
It still has a slight hum between stations but with my knowledge of electronics it will have to do until I learn more. Here are the photos.

Your satin finish is the perfect touch. Just spectacular.

Thank you for the comments. I run across these radios at garage sales and flea markets and by word of mouth. The cabinet part is easy but the chassis is another story,so I keep reading ''The Elements of Radio''
I also put a few adds on Kijiji with good response.
Here is my latest find..It is a RCA and the model is ''Master''
I picked it up at the local flea market for $30.00. It has now been racapped and polished up. Before and after photos
