How many different cabinet styles for 37-630?
#1

Ok I am new to this old radio stuff but want to know some info on my Philco 37-630 which I bought for $20 and want to get it to look and play like new. So I was looking at all the old radio sites and collections and could not find a cabinet that looks like mine. I see lots of 37-630's but with a different style. My question is how many different cabinet styles did Philco make for the 37-630? On the inside there is a paper label which has the part number 102561===final insp. 122031 and run number which I can't make out. Thanks for any info. Dennis

You have a 37-630MX, cabinet no. 10256A. Introduced mid-season 1937 (January '37).

The 37-630 was also available as a table model (37-630T) and two slightly different "X" console models (37-630X). Yours is probably the least often seen of the four.
