Hi every one,
Up to my usual bad habit of perusing Craigslist and came across a Philco 40-190XF for sale not too far from me. It's in fair shape. Of course the pushbuttons are shot, but the dial glass looks good and the grille cloth is intact. the cabinet will need to be redone as well, I really don't need another project but I am digging the "Skyscraper" Art Deco cabinet
! I'm going to go look at it on Friday evening. The seller is asking $100 for it, but I am thinking more along the lines of $75. Anyone have any opinions on this model set? I've never seen this style cabinet before, is it a uncommon model? Any thoughts would be great, Thanks!
