Just acquired a very nice 41-226 and have a question regarding the plastic area above the middle selector knob. The plastic area should read P.B. B'D C'ST S.W. for the 3 selections (push button, broadcast, and shortwave). My question is should this be etched in the plastic or is this a decal. Thanks, in advance, for any assistance.

They used to be on decals, it's more then likely that they got rubbed off or just fell off since they were on the plastic escutcheon.
