Philco AC/DC Pilot Lamps
#1

Can someone tell me the modern substitutes for the dial lamps Philco used for these:
Pilot Lamps AC-DC Chassis
Lamp (Code 121) 34-2063
(Code 122) 34-2477

Thanks

I imagine Chuck or Ron will know but if you look at the parts list for the 42-327 at http://www.audiophool.com/Philco.html it lists:

Pilot Lamp (6volts-Code 121) 34-2068
Pilot Lamp (115volts-Code 122) 34-2477

not equivalent info but maybe it will help. Are you sure its 2063 and not 2068?
The 2068 equivalent is a #47 ( http://www.philcorepairbench.com/lamps.htm )

(update)
Ron answers the 2477 question here: http://philcoradio.com/phorum/showthread...ht=34-2477. That would be a C-7 style 120volt 7 watt. See http://www.radiodaze.com/category/60.aspx for some (or looks like a hardware store bulb for a candle)

Brenda;

Thanks very much for that information. I was trying to make them out on some poor quality schematics and parts lists.

Bob;

Thank you for the information you provided too. What I read as 34-2063 could very well have been 34-2-68 due to the poor quality of the image I was looking at.

What radio are you working on?
