Hello there! I received a beautiful unit which i plan to restore but having trouble identifying it. The label on back says it was made in Canada and is a philco model 1775. No where can I find any info on a model 1775 on the internet. I was hoping if i posted a few pictures it may help with either confirming its identity or point out what it really is. I'll post some photos below. Thanks in advanced.

I pulled the backing off, on the chassis in black ink 420AX was stamped, is this helpful?

Chuck, try connecting with these folks for a schematic http://canadianvintageradio.com/resource...c-service/ . They say they have schematics through 1970 so perhaps they will have yours or may know something about it.
