Philco Radio AR-75 ? Help with ID
#1

I picked up a green box at an estate sale that says Philco Radio in raised chrome on the front and a small tag on the side that says model Philco AR-75. It has two wires coming out and two places for connections on the bottom. It also has heat vents and several holes for adjusting small screws inside. There are no dials or nobs for tuning or adjustment. Any help on the identification would be appreciated. Thanks, Bill

Maybe this question is not appropriate for this board. Please let me know and I will not post any longer. If the question is OK, maybe a picture would help - since my description is a little vague.... thanks, Bill

It's an auto radio from 1941 model year. Runs on 6 volt DC, NEG ground systems.

Chuck,
Would there be a separate control unit for this radio?

I believe there would be an under-dash control head and the main chassis was usually up on the firewall somewhere.
