Yes, I have noticed that from seeing the photos Peter has posted...but the Oктябрь 2 bears a strong resemblance to the Nordmende Fidelio 55 in front - especially that tuning eye, the placement of same, and the escutcheon surrounding it.
That stands out to me because, as I said previously, I really like the Fidelio 55's looks. I passed on one a few years ago at a radio meet in Lexington, KY, and have regretted it ever since.
