Hello - haven't seen one of these so I grabbed it off ebay for my collection.  It survived shipping and plays well on both bands - all tubes original Philco brand - interestingly the 12BA6 and 12BE6 are Philco brand but made in Japan (Hitachi tubes I think)  All tubes with date codes 22-63.  Has not been touched in anyway - all original including a massive multi section cardboard cap installed in a "shelf" above the chassis - I can't make out all of the values but I think one section is 475 MFD @ 175 Volts?  Is that possible?  Looking for a schematic for this radio - has thunderous sound - even the AM band sounds better than average on this radio.  Was this Philcos effort/answer to the big Zenith MJ1035 model?   This radio also has jacks for "R speaker cabinet" plus R and L external speakers.   Any info would be appreciated.
