Another project - Philco 71
#1

Took a bit of a hiatus from working on radios.  Worked on my home built airplane, watched a bunch of Netflix series, and did puzzles with my wife.  Late night fridge raids demanded that I start another project.  It helps the calorie battle.

So, I had purchased a 71 at the auction previously talked about .  It had been refinished and actually played.  The filter caps had been bypassed, but no other work had been done.    So, a complete redo is in order.  The oscillator coil has hints of the dreaded nitrocellulose disease, so it will be rewound. Here are the initial images.
