This is a complicated set to align. It must be done is the correct order and steps given in the service info which has 4-6 steps for each freq. band, in correct order, controls set to specific settings, etc.

The set also has Magnetic Tuning (AFC - automatic freq control)adjustments which are also done after full alignment.

Mag Tuning is off during initial aligning steps and is part of the Auto Dial tuning mechanism on your set.
