I am also gearing up to tackle an 84. I do not expect it to be different from 82, meaning what one has to deal with.
AKs are fun to work at, even with rubber wiring accounted for.
Way, way more fun than RCAs.
People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.
