Unusual High Boy console

I have never said it was 14 or 18; I merely pointed to the escutcheon as the one used in those, and then answered the escutcheon question.
Now that I see the chassis, I see it is a Philco, that is without doubt.

I suspect it could be 16 / 18 modification for a non-US market, due to the combination of the holes in the chassis, the speaker plug and the capacitive filter can.
In fact the label says 18T.
