As I think more about that 150 ohm resistor that directly follows the selenium diode, I’m going to have to add some series resistance any way because the silicon replacement diode will need it for added voltage drop, it might make sense to take out the 150 resistor and simply replace it with one correct that has a the correct total resistance for the new diode. I’ll have to do some testing to figure the value. Of course I probably can’t buy exactly the right value at 2 or 5 watts so it may be two in series any way. Just thinking out loud here in the Phorum
