So. Direct question: you do not see a Candohm resistor on the left internal side of the chassis (denpted with red arrow below)? Nor do you see the signs of it being there before?
Also: Could you summarize teh state of the radios? I am confused a bit: do you have now power to teh heaters or have you wired them separately to check the tubes but it is not like it is supposed to be wired?
