A good radio, the 6K6 OOPSm6K7 RF Amp, 6L7 mixer and separate oscillator make this a good shortwave performer. Decent Audio circuit, not a high power push-pull; it is a single end output. Strange that they used a 5Z3 and shielded it. This is not a mercury vapor rectifier nor is there a high B+ load on this set.
