Ok that makes sense. The 500k pot may have enough range to get the LM317 output to 2v, or I could increase the 220 ohm resistor up some. And the three batteries idea is good for C supply. I may go this route since I could build it relatively cheap and permanently install it in the radio, and just hard wire the 6 pin connector wiring onto the power supply. Ok that’s one option, thank you. George
