RCA 6K3 Preliminary Capacitor/Resistor Research
#24

So, I lined up all five (I think) of these 10W resistors pretty much end to end and they came to about 9 inches.  On the Amplified Parts website (thanks Rod) they had both the 13 and 26-lug strips that Tube Depot listed for about the same price, though on Amplified Parts they were listed as a backorder.  However, Amplified Parts they showed the dimensions and the overall length of the 26-lug strip is 9.5".  Unfortunately, that's a little longer than the candohm, but I think I may be able to finagle something if I bring it down a bit and use, on at least one end, one of the screws that goes into the "legs" on the bottom of the chassis.

I'll have to drill at least one hole for a center mount and standoff, but I feel like this will ultimately be a cleaner/more elegant solution than going in multiple pieces.  While it's possible that it's an entirely different product between the two websites, I took a chance and we'll see if the one from Tube Depot matches up and if they actually have it in stock to ship.

Best wishes,
Roy
