I just happened to try it because I had it from a wood restoration project (based on use by a guy I watch on youTube for wood restoration techniques, Thomas Johnson.) According to the MSDS it does have potassium hydroxide and sodium meta silicate in it (among other things), both of which are very alkaline so you need to wash it off.
