I restored a similar set last year, but a different model with separate IFTs for FM and AM. They all had silver Mica disease, but could be repaired. Hope you don't run into those troubles.

I am always a bit fascinated by sets that have the 44MHz band I FM, just because it is a somewhat obscure historic artifact.

I don't hold with furniture that talks.
