I need some help.

1. Someone connected a 0.047 cap from the tone control to the 42 tube. What is the purpose of this and is it needed. The schematic does not show anything there but there is a wire from the tone control.

2. The wave band selector is missing a connection from the brown black resistor. Where should this wire go?

3. I would like clarification of where all the filter condenser bank caps go and the best place to ground them.

I have rebuilt all the bakelite blocks and I am stuck on the above three questions. Hopefully I did everything else right Someone really hacked this one. I have the schematic but have a hard time following it.

I can't wait to hook it up to the variac and give it a try once I get over the stumbling blocks.
