Philco 531 advice needed.
#1

I have actually found a complete Philco 531 conesole that is available out of another collection nearby and I would like some advice on what to offer for it. Fact: it is the only one I know of in the area, it looks complete, and the cabinet looks good. Another fact: this guy is definitely NOT a lowball offer type. He wants me to make an offer on this set and I'd like to put it in my Philco collection to start buttoning it up. Also up for possible grabs from the same collector is the matching 1928 Philco table radio. Nice condition, but has the cord cut off and is missing the matching speaker. The console is my main interest though as my Philco collection is mainly the consoles. This unit even appears to have the original horseshoe magnet speaker in it yet. Sorry, I didn't have my camera for pictures. Icon_sad

No matter where you go, there you are.
