In case you cannot pull off your repair maybe you could find some local assistance with the Colorado Antique Radio Club. They may be able find you a helper. Is there a Philco Phactory Trained Tech in the house...?

I know you can do it with some helpful advice but the local club might assist, I know we always try not to send away from the Phorum anyone seeking help, but in this case.......
