I finally got one!
#1

A big surprise today after I tried to get this radio a year ago. The same guy who wanted the rediculous price for the Philco 70 had my friend working on a nice little 37-84 that I ha tried to buy from him over a year ago. While I was visiting my friend, the guy called and upon finding out I was there, sold the radio to me in working condition for a good bit less than he wanted for it when I tried to get it the first time. Other than needing the usual dial scale replacement, the rest of the radio is in good shape and preforms fairly well. The volume control has a touch spot near the bottom, but works fine for my needs. No matter where you go, there you are.
