thank you yan for taking the time to send this picture..it was all I needed to hook things up properly without having to dig through the chasis and probably make a mistake. I was incorrect in my previos post regarding alignment...I have now been able to align the units IF to 455kc for the AM Band, however I still can not seem to bring the radio from a shift towards the higher frequencies leaving the low end 550kc and up with an annoying chatter...is this normal....Yan, you have mentioned that your model 47-1230 seems to do the same thing after recapping. Everything seems to check out including tubes etc..not sure where to turn next....Nice to be a part of this forum...my first philco.
