Nice dog Kevin. I was thinking Sheltie but couldn't think of the name. If and when I get another dog, it will be a Sheltie. Friend had one and that was one smart dog.
As for flash tuning there were apparently different versions. Probably prior to the tuning eye and shadow graph. My Fada has the same thing. Only set up for NY stations as I guess that was where they were made. Dial above the tuning dial which had printed NY stations on it. The plastic dial showed tuned frequency (well 0-100 on the lower display) the upper dial showed the stations. Small cuts in the dial switched contacts to turn on the light at that station. Crude but interesting. You could apparently with the right tool also punch new indents into the dial for your favorite station although the flash dial would not indicate the station number.
