Great find! Now that I've seen this 16B, along with a couple others with the early escutcheon, I now feel that the earliest production of 16B tombstones in this cabinet style must have used those escutcheons with rosette knobs; and they switched to the more familiar rectangular escutcheon and hex knobs soon after.

Ronin61, tell your friend Don to get some chevron cloth from Kenny Richmond, and that 16B will look nearly perfect. Icon_thumbup
