With it misbehaving touch the grid cap of the 78 rf amp and then the 77 mixer tube. Does that stop the noise?

I tried as suggested. It didn’t seem to make a difference, other than completely killing the entire signal when I touched one of the tubes.

So, I plugged in and ran 3 different radios, including a more modern (1970s-80s) unit. Apparently the signal I’m getting is something new to either the house or area. I wasn’t getting it earlier (a few weeks ago), so I thought it was specific to this recent restore. It’s not specific. It is affecting my other radios in the same frequency spread. So that resolves this problem.

The final test will be when I get the 16 home and try it. My guess, there is a transformer or some such device near Jeff that it splattering out a spurious signal. I've seen that same sort of thing happen on the ham band. We'll see! Thanks for your hard work, Jeff!!
