Thanks George, I wish they did 50s@5 but they don't. They sure have an interesting program. Dan

Hello George,
I have one Am station in my area most of the time it's country music but on Saturdays it plays old radio programs .
Sincerely Richard

Try this station. It’s 810am in Denver but they now stream and have an app. I use my AM transmitter to broadcast this station in my garage and then listen to it on my radios since the over the air signal is so weak. Pretty lame to take AM streamed and rebroadcast it but hey whatever works. They play 50s thru early 80s. And very few commercials

I just tried streaming KVLZ "Legends 810". I don't think you are streaming "AM", you are streaming the audio feed. It is quite clean direct from the computer (well not so direct, Bluetooth to a little Chinese mini-amp.

It is a little package about 4/5" X 3.5" X 1.5", 25W/ Channel, 12V In from a brick. The amp has an audio input, FM, USB / SD and Bluetooth. It feeds 2 4" wide range speakers built into my reclining chair. Used so I can hear the TV or computer at night without disturbing Ms. Fixr. Unfortunately, the chair absorbs some of the treble (and my ears have issues detecting the rest).

Not a fan of in-ear headphones, so I don't think that I am going to like the hearing aids that I am going to need. Used to be that only Ms. Fixr complains that I am hard of hearing, now it is others.

Today's update. Played for seven hours yesterday without issues. Radio was in cabinet but not bolted down. I bolted it down this morning so I will let it play again today and tomorrow and see what happens.

I listened to Legends 810 for a bit on the computer and I agree this must be fed from what ever source supplies the music. It sounds great on my two inch Boston computer speakers.

Mr. Fixr I have been wearing hearing aids just about all my life. My advice is to get custom ear pieces made just for your ears. Those little generic cups are crap.

Dan, great news that it is working, only problem is you now don't know which of the fixes cured it  Icon_biggrin

Mr. Fixr, I know this problem but in reverse.  My wife is convinced that I have started mumbling more as I get older.  It couldn't be her hearing going bad, no.  In fact, my son and son-in-law when visiting also seem to be started mumbling more.  There appears to be an epidemic of mumblers, hmm.
