During the last 4-5 weeks, I've acquired 3 new sets, all Philco.
1st is a good condition complete 1935 45C "Butterfly".

Next, I found a complete, with original turntable, 41-605P. The cabinet has been stripped, and a layer or 2 of poly slathered on, but at least the wood was preserved. I don't usually go for the 1940s, but my wife and I both really like the Art Deco look. My space at home is crowded, so my parents are graciously babysitting it until I can clear some space at home. The ad disc shown on the turntable- I scanned it, and I'll be posting a restored image file to share with y'all soon.

Next, I just picked up today, a 1935 Philco 60B. I actually already had one I picked up a little under 2 years ago, but the cabinet was is sorry shape. Not sure if I'll restore the beat up one now. I do have everything to make 2 complete units, though.

I noticed that the wood used looks different. Different types of wood used between the 2 radios? Can any experts out there tell me what each is? I want to take notes for when I restore them.

Nice sets! The  first 60 looks like it has two ballast tubes for filters.

This is a lovely radio. I have never seen one in person, but I would like to. Yours seems to be in very nice shape!

Good finds John. I see the butterflys on the bay cool looking, Icon_thumbup  and they usually go for hefty prices.

It took a while, but a downloadable PDF link is now in the "Downloadables" section of the forum. Enjoy!
