It has been awhile since I have posted. Haven't really been doing Philcos, but that has changed. I just received a 57C and was blown away by how clean and original the chassis was. I just dusted and this is what I got. It looks like one resistor had been changed aways back and they put their fingers through the speaker. Here are some pics. Tell me what you think. It also works and the cord appears original too!

Thats a cherry one! It must have belonged to the same little old lady that only took it out of the closet on Sundays to listen to a church program. She had some nice cars too!

Thanks for the coments. I have been playing it for about twenty minutes a day since I got it and it plays great. To hear Big Band and old time radio coming through the original electronics like it did in 1933.
