philco 46 200 code 122
#1

So I picked up this little Philco and I guess it is a different tube set than the more popular model. It uses 7A8 7B7 7C6 Tubes with the 35Z5 and 50L6GT.

The schematic on Nostalgia Air has 14B6 14A7 7A8 tube. So I guess as tubes were a good deal, or overstock, etc......especially after the War there were several versions of set in similar cabinets. Maybe more of this on the cheaper sets.

Looking for a "freebie" schematic on my code 122 versions. Did some searches with no luck.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Paul

The 7xx series tubs were actually 6.3v, same as their 6xx octal brethren... Same for 14 volt actually 12.6... For awhile Sylvania did list the 7xx as 7v but that idea was shelved in either late 40s or early 50s...

Except for 7A8, the 7xx tubes should have same basing as 14xx so that schematic should be useable...

Have a look here Paul might have the schematic you need. Good luck.
