How to remove power switch 41-608
#1

Merry Christmas to all!  New problem. One of the two wires in the power switch came out. How do I remove the switch to reconnect the wire?

I'm pretty sure your set has the radio off/on switch built in to the pushbutton assembly. It's not uncommon on these switches to have burnt contacts or if they have been arcing for a while just the fall apart.
Should see your choke on Monday.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

I put a new switch in today. I used the one from lowes but didn't disassemble the new one. Instead I filed some of the tip off of the stem (about 3/16 of an inch), used epoxy to glue the feral to the old switch location and screwed the switch in until it functioned correctly. Locked in place with the lock nut that came with the switch and now it works perfectly.

Does your specimen of 41-608 have the extra recording tone arm? Icon_wtf

No someone removed the bol and replaced it with a standard phonograph.
