Help to repair the Philco Mystery control spring
#1

Hi.

I am restoring my Philco 39-116, and the Mystery control.
In my Mystery control, the dial does not return, because the spring is broken and I only have a little bit.

Does anyone know its length and how it fits inside the pulley, as I only see a small 1mm hole.

See the pictures.

Many thanks.

Regards,
Carlos

Chuck’s Philco Repair Bench has some detailed info on the mystery control. Don’t know if it discusses the spring or not. https://www.philcorepairbench.com/philco...y-control/
