Can anybody tell me if it is a model 60MB or a 66B? Had a model 60MB years ago.
Tnx!

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.

Now I think I've got it!

Impossible to tell from the photos. Good luck stripping the brown paint from that thing.

The shortwave dial on a 66 goes to 16.0 MHz, the 60 only goes to 4.0 MHz

Yeah I'm hoping it the 66 as it does better SW coverage. I've the 60 in a cathedral cabinet.

Hooray!!!!! It's a model 66B. Everything looks good but the dial escutcheon is worn off sanded maybe? Should be a fun project to get going again and cruise the SW band!
Terry
ps anybody got an escutcheon for 60mb or 66b?
