Thank you. Once, I thought to learn Russian as a third language, after I took Spanish, but the teaching program shut down before I could. I should have tried to learn it on my own, my brain used to be very receptive to new alphabets and languages, but now I'm doing well to use English. Icon_smile

Brenda, I got the photo. I am just feeling like falling asleep, but will resend it tp Peter tomorrow.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

That RCA is really pretty good shape considering how far it travelled.

Brenda, your translation is clearer than Google Translate.  Icon_mrgreen    Unfortunately, my success in learning English is much more modest. But it seems to me that if we continue to communicate then we will both succeed. Icon_lol

Paul, I bought this RСA in Ukraine and it was in a rather unattractive condition. When I bought it at a local auction, I thought it was one of those radio consoles that were imported en masse to Ukraine in the 1930s, which was then part of the Soviet Union. But then it turned out that it was powered by a 120-volt network, so most likely it was imported by a collector relatively recently.
One day, about five years ago, I had the opportunity to buy a large collection of about 1,000 radio, and about 20 of them were American radio consoles imported into the USSR in the 1930s. But I could not afford it because it cost a very large sum of money and the traces of this collection have disappeared, perhaps it is now in the private museum of a millionaire and is not available for viewing. In general, there are many collectors in Ukraine who have large collections.

Hello everybody. Good mood and good health to all.
Finally I returned to our hobby. I listened to several radios, appreciated their quality of work and decided to make a short video ... Click on "subtitles" and watch the video with the translation

Very nice radio ! I enjoyed the video. It reminds me of the RCA C9-4 I restored last year. Even the cabinets are similar. They are VERY good performers, and with the large speaker in the console cabinet they sound great. I made a video of mine too. You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqoBYsF7PyI

You have a great radio. I like RCA

Hi RadioSvit,
Your Zenith Cabinet build was amazing! The radios sound vey nice. Is the Phono Pickup a magnetic one such as a GE RPX or is it a crystal or ceramic.

Prayers and Best Regards,

If you asked about the Zenith 12H092, I could not buy the original Zenith player for it, but I had a Gerard AC75 and I installed it there.

There are nothing and I mean nothing that comes close to the RCA radios of this era. Nice radio I have several RCA radios of these years. An RCA 9K2, RCA 810K, RCA C11-1, RCA 110K, RCA 214, RCA 8T, RCA 5U. Also a RCA 816K, a RCA 812K, all exceptional radios far better than the Zenith brand and far better than the ummm Philco brand. (sorry Ron and the website) but the RCA brand radios are so much better. The 9K radio you have seemed to pick up so many radio stations across the dial. I bet it is very much the same as my RCA 9K2. Mine just has a extra band. Very sensitive bandwith. Thanks for posting your 9K radio. Icon_clap
