Remove IF Cans
#1

I would like to remove the three square cans from my 630 for cleaning but I can't get those clips loose. Any have any clues how to do that?

Thank you,
Dan

Here's a photo of one. They snap into the slot. Pinch the tab to remove.

I tried that but the needle nose always slips off. Ah maybe try small channel locks. Seems to work but really have to squeeze. That worked for one. Now I have two where I can't get the pliers or needle nose in there.

I seem to remember pinching the tabs from below.

Try a small nut driver, one where the socket end will fit over the pointed part, barring that try a piece of metal tubing.

Ah yes Arran that sounds like a good idea.

You should try squeezing from the top of the chassis. Look at the mechanism, it was made to pinch from the top.

I got the cans off by using both methods. Some you can't get from the top as other stuff is in the way so a small socket did the trick.
