Can you help me identify this vintage Philco radio

I got this radio from my mother and I was trying to determine the model number and when it might have been made.

Thanks,

Sue

Sue, can you please provide a photo of the back of the set, perhaps the bottom of the set if there's any information there? Many of our phorum members can help you decode the model number if they see it (I'm one of the exceptions Icon_redface ).

Here are pictures of all the tags/labels on the radio:<p>

Hi Sue

The last photo you posted is the key...P-941 is the model number.

P equals 1966 model year.

Thanks so much for identifying the model for me. Now the question is, is this unit worth selling? Any suggestion on estimated value?

Just about all the stuff we deal with here is pretty old by comparison (1920's-50's) and a different technology (vacuum tube versa transistor)I would venture a guess that most here wouldn't have much interest at all. As for the worth you are probably looking at $5 to $10. I've seen set like that at yard sales and Goodwill go for as much.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

Thanks--that's what I thought, but I always check before I get rid of (any vintage) item because I have been totally shocked with various items values.

Thanks again for your time!

Sue
