I checked both tubes in the player they are good but I still can't get sound out of my 40-190 radio I've tuned to 560Kc I hear a squeal from the set but can't pick up a signal from the player When the player is turned off I can hear the squeal slowly die out so the player must be putting out something I tried shorting across the two wires that come out of the cartridge still nothing Does anyone have an Idea what steps to take next The radio plays good and picks stations up and down the band
