This set was recently found by a friend of Henry Harmony for the amazing sum of 75.00!!!

Any info about this set is appreciated. I already recommended this site and Chuck's site and service to him.

Nice! Have you seen this wesbite ? http://www.tuberadioland.com/philco23x_main.html
Second most expensive model in 1932 and only 1,461 made.

Well, how about that...I've seen The Big Broadcast and noticed the 23X, but didn't know that set was a favorite of Der Bingle!

An amazing find, Tom! Icon_thumbup

As a side note, most young people have no clue as to who Bing Crosby was. They think "Bing" is a search engine, not a once-famous celebrity. Icon_rolleyes

I'm 23, and enjoy listening to Bing Crosby, Glenn Miller, and Count Basie. Your right Ron, many my age don't have a clue this day and age. Beautiful set Tom, I bet that one will be a great player once restored. Nice Find.

The set was found and is owned by the friend of Henry's. Not me, unfortunately....
