Help ID this radio
#1

This radio is in the Bandon Historical Society Museum in Bandon OR but I can't identify it.  I can't get to the tubes to see their lineup yet but was able to see that there were no labels on the back of the chassis.  It has a Jackson Bell look to it but doesn't seem to be of that quality.  Any thoughts? Thanks!!

Looks similar to Glorytones, Jacson Bells, there were other similar looking brnds.

The cabinet looks kinda home made to me. That wood grain looks like they way plywood looks. The way it's cut from the logs. And the shape has an old english look to it.
I believe it's from their early primitive period Icon_lol

Maybe It's been refinished and the veneer is missing. That's why the grain looks funny to me.

Thanks guys!  Mike, I think that Gilfillan/Jackson Bell image is pretty close if not identical to the one in the museum. That gets me closer!

One like the photo I posted at the beginning of this thread just showed up on Ebay for $550 Antique 1930 Jackson Bell Fleur De Lis Cathedral Am Tube Radio Fully Restored.  I'll post the ebay photo here since the link will disappear in a few weeks.

Fully restored, but only has one frontal shot photo to go by, at a $550 price, no thanks! I can tell you the tube lineup without looking, #80, #45, #27. #24, #24, #24, it may have another #45 but that was the typical lineup for a midget radio with a TRF circuit from 1929-31.

Thanks Arran.  Ageed, its pricey with so few pics and info...perhaps too pricey in any event.  I was just surprised to to see it.
