Northern Electric 921 cabinet finished
#1

This happens to be my latest radio. I  Just finished the cabinet, and it sure does have some very nice wood.
  I am a sucker for those large dials.
  The chassis is done except for a belt  from Adams belts.
Here are the photos.

Terry's is not that same one. It is just very similar. His is a Stromberg I think...

Then you can restore it for me Icon_lol

Kirk;
  It may be an American Bosch, some of their models used almost identical chassis to those used in many Northern Electric models back in the 1930s. Stromberg was never into huge aeroplane style dials, they prefered smaller octagonal ones and orange peak hole dials similar to those used in Philcos.

Beautiful job! When can we see it all put back together?
#13

I finally got this one all back together, so here are some photos of the dial. It is BIG, but
it looks nice and the radio plays very well.
