Old Radio Parts Questions
#1

Friend of mine dropped off all these NOS in box and miscellaneous radio parts. I think he said found them in a relative's attic.
I wonder if some of you that are parts gurus could tell me anything.

Does it fit any specific model or series?
Is it rare?
Is it worth anything?

(Are the transformers shipped in pieces for patent reasons?)

All comments welcome! (Please refer to picture number.)
Much appreciated!

Rob

Many parts, including the variometer in #1 and some of the tube sockets/knob in #18 are from early radios from 20s.
The thordarson and Stancor xfmrs should have all info written right on the packages or the xfmrs themselves.
Another thing is #18 seems to be a surge arrester (lightening suppressor).

there is also a vernier (the tuning scale mechanism) in #19.

#17B is a loudspeaker horn driver (or so it seems).

#16 is a phone jack or some sort of a jack.
#12 is a tuning cap for a linear dial.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

Thanks morzh! I didn't catch the lightning arrester at all, and wasn't sure about the horn driver.
The horn driver is one of the things I kept. He was splitting up the parts with me for testing the tubes (not shown).
