Video of my electrically restored 1952 Motorola 52X
#1

I left the cosmetic's alone because that is not my department.  Icon_lol This one took considerable work to make it live again replaced all the caps and resistors along with a 12BD6 tube, speaker, power switch and rubber tuning capacitor grommets no silver mica disease here.

Sorry for the lack of tuning because there is not a great selection in the day time. Strange it uses a 12BD6 in place of the 12BA6.

Like the funky tuning indicator on the top. WSM Icon_thumbup

I have tried to pick up WSM up in Boston only to shut out all the time, used differing antenna, different sets, etc........

Enjoy.

You're like me, . . . you got used to seeing the same 5 in the All-American-5 plastics tabletops, ( I could recite them by memory by the time I was 13), . . . then got bent out of shape when you discovered they weren't the original 5 !   Icon_crazy

Nice work bud.
