What is my Philco 680X worth? Good condition.
#1

I recently was restoring an older home I bought. When I tore down a wall there was a closet hidden behind the wall. In the closet was this Philco 680X in really good condition. All the knobs work but I haven't tried to power it up. Waiting to have a pro look at it. Can anyone give me an idea of what it is worth? I know it is very rare. I think they only built 1500 of these. The case is in excellent condition. Thanks for your help.

Whatever you do, don't try to power it up. Very old radios need some TLC before coming back on line. For my money I would take a few pictures of it, list it on eBay, and let the market decide. Try to get the model number right as well. You may well have a nice period piece that one of us would really like to have.

Thanks

I'm just trying to get an idea on what its worth. To see if it is worth paying someone to take a look and test it. I will probably keep it because it is a nice piece. Thanks
