Who can repair 39-116 and Mystery remote in Los Angeles?

Hi-
I need to have my 39-116 worked on (volume is low; remote only works within 5 feet of console) in the Los Angeles area.
Can anyone recommend a reliable repair person?

Where in the LA area are you located? I am in Thousand Oaks and may be able to help you out with your radio. I restore antique radios and televisions and own a Philco 39-55 AM only remote and got it working pretty well.

FYI, the 39-55 is the "Little Brother" to the 39-116, so Mystery Control setups are the same.

Did you ever find a repairman knowledgeable in the workings of the Mystery Control? I have acquired one with a broken dial return spring and need possible leads to a replacement.
