Plays very well! Slight drift on FM until fully warmed up. It features variable sensitivity and selectivity, so it is possible to fully exploit the excellent sound and reception of this set.

Very nice Tom. I almost regret not picking one up that was for sale down in Georgia a few years ago, until I realized how big and heavy they are! Still, if I see another nice one for a decent price I might try to squeeze it in Icon_crazy

BTW-Be aware they draw about 14 watts when turned OFF. I now unplug my 800B when not in use. I heard this from a friend who has one of my old sets and sure enough it is true. I think its one of the transformers on the amp but not for sure on that.
